Band-in-a-Box 2011.5 has 20 new features and enhancements since 2011!
There were over 50 new features added in Band-in-a-Box 2011, and now version 2011.5 delivers 20 more! There are RealTracks enhancements, including support for Pedal Bass, a "Same But Different" feature (insuring that multiple versions of the same RealTrack always play different riffs), smoother playing in waltzes, better pushes and more simple variations, plus 101 NEW RealTracks!

RealTracks Enhancements
"Same-But-Different" Ensures that, if you have 2 (or more) of the same RealTracks on different tracks, that they will never play the same thing at the same time. If they did it would cancel each other out, and it would sound like one person. "It just works"... there are no settings to change; it just makes the tracks different.

For example, setup a strumming guitar part, using RealTracks 362. Setup the same RealTrack on a few different tracks. Pan them differently (left, right, center). Then press Play. You'll notice that they never play the same, so that it sounds like 3 different players.

"Pedal Bass" supported for RealTracks.

"Bigger Soloists" are supported. Some of our soloists have more riffs than previous RealTracks, so they sound better. These soloists require Band-in-a-Box 2011.5 to work.

Better pushes in RealTracks, especially over songs with chord changes every 2 beats. These are the natural pushes that occur automatically (not the ones you get by putting ^ carets before chord names), and they will sound more natural.

Waltzes are improved with RealTracks, better playing when there are 2 chords per bar, and with better endings.

Band-in-a-Box 2011 has over 50 great new features and enhancements!

There were more than 90 new features added in Band-in-a-Box 2010 & 2010.5, and now version 2011 adds over 50 more! These include improvements to the sounds of RealTracks, much smaller size of RealTracks, a new Mixer window, and more.

We’ve made big improvements to the sounds of the RealTracks, so that they sound more natural over a much wider range of tempos with the élastique Pro V2 time stretching engine by zplane.development. And we’ve made the size of the RealTracks much smaller, so that they now only take up 30% of the space that they used to. The new version will shrink the size of your existing RealTracks too, so that you can free up lots of space on your drive.

We’ve enhanced RealTracks so that you can now have RealTracks styles changes within a song, generate Soloist Medleys - solos that play RealTracks instruments during the solos, and more. There’s a Scales Wizard for practicing, which generates scales for any chord progression. New StylePicker Filters show you only the styles that match your search criteria. And much more!

Its built-in TC Helicon audio harmonies will turn your audio track into multiple harmony parts or adjust its pitch, with vibrato and scooping effects for realistic vocal styles and up to sixteen choral parts.
