Cool Edit Pro: Recording from Multi CD Changer or second CD drive.

With a multi CD changer, you will notice that Cool Edit (Pro) will only recognize the first CD-Rom drive. So if you have 4 CD-Rom drive and they are E, F, G, H, Cool Edit (Pro) will only see one of them (usually the first one). Cool Edit uses the "MCI" drivers, to pick which CD-Rom Drive to record from. To change your CD-Rom Drive from one drive to another, follow these instructions:

Start
Settings
Control Panel
Multimedia
CD Music

Now, select the CD-Rom Drive you would like to record from. You will need to restart Cool Edit (Pro) to record from the newly selected drive.
