Cool Edit Pro: No Audio in Cool Edit when upgrading to Windows 98

Cool Edit and Cool Edit Pro are fully compatible with Windows 98.

When you upgrade from MS Windows 95 to MS Windows 98 your device names and IDs may change. If Cool Edit gives you an error under Win98, please check the devices area under [ Options > Settings > Devices ] menu. Changing the name of the old device to the new sound card device name should correct this problem. If you continue to have problems, try reinstalling the sound card drivers as well as your Cool Edit or Cool Edit Pro software.
